I am David Lafón, guard of the Renclusa Hut and along with our team we are passionate for the mountain and nature. As mountaineer it is a privilege being able to work in a hut and being able to help and guide other mountaineers. I share my job with friends, my parents, Mari & Antonio (guards of the Renclusa for more than 40 years). They taught me all the skills that being a guard requires, and sometimes even my daughter Carolina helps us.

Renclusa is located in the Benasque Valley, down the Maladetas massif and the Aneto top (the highest mountain of the Pyrenees). In 1916, the “Centro Excursionista de Cataluña” built the hut.
